Please read the rules prior to uploading your photos. By entering, you agree to be bound by these rules.

Rules:

All images must be taken outdoors in Idaho.

Only one entry per person is allowed per category.

Please only send one application.

Photographs must have been created since January 1, 2020.

You retain all rights to your entries.

You grant “Seasons of the 208” and Idaho Scenics Publishing, LLP, a one time, non-exclusive license for online display for 1 year.

Entries may not be composite images. (No sky substitution or addition of objects)

Entries may not be computer generated. (Very minimal use of AI, such as removing a small unwanted object)

Cell phone photos will be considered but must meet the size requirements.

Entries may not have been previously published in Idaho.

Standard editing techniques, such as cropping, highlights and shadow adjustment, saturation and luminance adjustment, high dynamic range and focus stacking are allowed.

Regular contributors to "Seasons of the 208" magazine are exempt from entering.

We reserve the right to move photos to the category we feel best suits the image.

Not all prizes may be awarded if there are not enough quality entries. (This will be decided at the sole discretion of the publisher)

Only images entered through the magazine's online contest portal (this page) will be considered.

Entry deadline closes May 1st, 2026. Winners will be notified by the end of May.
